Who We Are:
Below are the values, behaviors, and skills we care about most. We incorporate these values from Christ to guide and lead us in our ministries, how we treat each other within the church, and how we live our personal lives.
Healthy:
– First and foremost, we are followers of Jesus Christ. We are passionate about thriving in every area of life as we “love the Lord with all our mind, body, soul, and strength” and “love our neighbor as ourselves.”
– We prioritize our relationship with Christ by devoting ourselves to meaningful and consistent time with Him.
– We live in an accountable community with other believers.
– We maintain healthy rhythms in every season of life.
Humble:
– We serve at God’s pleasure and for His glory. This ministry is not ours, and it is not about us. We aren’t here to build a platform for ourselves. We live surrendered lives as we submit ourselves to Him and to others. This means we are careful to give Him glory and not take it for ourselves.
– We love to give credit to our teammates.
– We model servant leadership.
– We put the needs of others before our own.
– We pick up trash and clean up chairs.
– We submit to our leaders.
Hungry:
– We understand what Jesus meant when He said, “my food is to do the will of Him who sent me,” because we too are hungry to see God move! We do our work with all our hearts, as if working for God Himself. We feel an urgency to do the work of the ministry.
– We want to see tons of people come to Christ.
– We devote ourselves to praying, fasting, and participating in this mission as we live expecting God to move mightily.
– We love our church’s vision and strategy and work to align our ministry area to the overall mission of the church.
– We prioritize ongoing development in our ministry skills.
