Earn a Marriage & Family Therapy Certificate While You Complete Your Degree
Berkley School of Theology is partnering with National University to provide master’s students with an option to complete a Post- Baccalaureate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) is designed for students who have completed at least their bachelor’s degree and are seeking academic expertise or to meet the non-clinical state-level requirements for licensure through a graduate level certificate program. To earn a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate, students must complete four courses (a total of 12 credit hours*) within the chosen Post-Baccalaureate Certificate program. Students must complete all four courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better to receive the certificate.
The following National University courses will be required to complete a BST master's degree with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Treatment Planning and Traditional Family Therapy

Family Therapy with Children
MFT-5105
Recovery-Oriented Care and Postmodern Family Therapy
MFT-6105
Couple and Sex Therapy
Applications for the master’s degree with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy will be handled through the BST Admissions Office.
MFT Course Fees
$2,739 – Per MFT certificate course.
$450 – One-time learning management fee.
$130 – Course materials fee of per class (covers books and fees.)
$11,926 – Total investment for completion of all four MFT certificate courses.
Scholarships of 15% are available for the MFT certificate courses.
Total cost after 15% scholarship is $10,283.
