Senior Minister

FBC Medford has always strived to be a warm, open, and inclusive congregation. We are committed to welcoming strangers, loving our enemies, lifting up the poor and disenfranchised, and inviting all who desire to be members, regardless of race or identity, and without distinction. We seek to continue the work God began in the world in Jesus Christ. Our strength and vitality come from our love of God and a rich diversity of opinions. The church has identified certain ministry opportunities for the coming year:
– to pursue strategies that increase the public face of the church, promote the viability and spiritual health of the congregation, and make manifest the true identity of First Baptist Church Medford as outlined in the “ABOUT US” statement in our church profile
– to attract new members from Medford, the fastest growing municipality in the Commonwealth, and the cities and towns around Medford; in particular to seek opportunities to engage with young adults and young families.
– to increase our presence and outreach within the city of Medford
– to re-invigorate and contemporize the core mission of our First Baptist Church Medford, to be the body of Christ in our community.
