Derek Doughty

Dr. Derek Doughty joined the team as Student Success and Financial Aid Advisor, a role focused on elevating the student experience and supporting students from admission through graduation. Derek holds a PhD in anthropology and brings more than a decade of higher education experience to this new position. Having worked extensively with, for, and alongside students in various roles, he comes with vision, imagination, and practical know-how. Derek is sure to be a meaningful contributor to the BST community. About his new role, he shares, “I have been blessed to receive an especially warm welcome from the dedicated staff and leadership at BST. Their actions have reinforced my belief that this is the ideal place to embark on the next chapter of my higher education career.
