PARKING for BST
Due to multiple Commencement ceremonies in Berkeley, expect heavy traffic and extremely limited parking throughout the area. Please allow ample time to find space.
Public Pay Lots
Metered Spots & Neighborhood Street Parking
Parking in these locations is available and is subject to a time limit. Note: those with handicapped placards or license plates are eligible to park in metered spots without having to pay and are not subject to time limits in any spots.
BST Main Lot
Reserved for event speakers, honorees, and trustees. Any remaining spots are available on a first come, first served basis for those with mobility issues.
Public Transportation
The closest BART station is Downtown Berkeley BART (approx. a 20–30- minute walk or a short rideshare). Several AC Transit bus lines also stop along Dwight Way and Telegraph Avenue. Please note that the area will be congested; we recommend allowing extra time for your commute.
